Im Ramya Jayakumar, UX designer with over 15 years of experience.
My journey started after I graduated in IT from Anna University. My first big break? Joining Infosys as a designer, working for Bank of America.
Four years later, I moved to Charlotte, NC, where I collaborated directly with the bank’s design team, shaping intuitive financial experiences.
In 2019, I earned my Nielsen Norman UX Certification, solidifying my commitment to user-centered design. Next, I transitioned from Orion in New Jersey to Randstad Technologies in Virginia, where I focused on designing for BCBS clients—each role refining my skills in crafting seamless digital experiences.
I moved back to India in 2021 and joined Born Group, where I worked with notable clients such as Lebara, Neeyamo, DEI, Telefonica, SBI, and many more. And I did not stop there.
Driven by a passion to understand users beyond interfaces, I pursued a Master’s in Psychology at Madras University and completed the Ascend leadership course at Tech Mahindra.
My journey has been about continuous learning, adaptability, and a global perspective—always pushing the boundaries of design to create experiences that truly connect.
